Great Website Joel!
Good overview. I found particularly the parts on Radio astronomy, SID receivers, and also the information on natural radio receivers quite informative. This offers an wide range of possibilities regarding observing in "other" wavelengths. I will discuss it with the club (UACNJ) members and see if we can start similar projects here.
Thanks

I just
wanted to let you know how useful my students and I found your links to
be on your web page
http://www.backyardastronomy.net/links.html. I'm a elementary school
teacher creating a lesson plan and project on the solar system.
Anyhow, my students stumbled upon this web page,
http://www.peoplefinders.com/article-finding-their-inner-astronaut-childs-guide-to-the-solar-system.aspx,
while trying to find some more online resources, and thought it would be
a great additional resource to your web page! The link offers a lot of
great information in relation to the solar system. My students would
love to see their link suggestion up on your page! I'm sure others will
find this link useful as well! Just a friendly suggestion, wanted to
pass the information along, let me know what you think!

I passed by your site and was surprised to see an old graphic I created of the Schumann Resonance. I have built an ELF receiver too, but the concepts are completely different. I rely on the diversion of electrons behind a magnetic shield. blah blah blah.... nice site.

Great Site. As a south Floridian, now retired-I will re-enter my earth physics hobby set aside 4o years ago. In my day, tubes were still mainstream........

Saw your entry on SpaceWeather.com. When I watched your video of the Jet, I noticed your information said Sebring, FL. I have lived here my whole life. I had no idea anyone here did something so cool like you are. Good for you for having such a grand hobby! Maybe our paths will cross. Keep it up.

I'm a SID user and came across your page. Fantastic work you have put together. I live in Alaska and I'm trying to use/convert/rebuild my SID receiver for aurora tracking/observation. Will be visiting your web site often. BTW, do you know what Feq aurora create?

This is one of the best sites I have found
to begin astrophotography, which I am doing. Your guides are very easy
to follow and very helpful. Thank you for putting the time in. Can you
send me any of your old stuff you don't use anymore! :D Your pics are
fantastic and I hope I can take some like them.

Hey Joel,
I just wanted to share something with you. Coming across your website
has encouraged me to pull out my old equipment and start the sky gazing
process again. Here's one of my first attempts:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/27815293@N02/3206052223/.
This is the first successful imaging attempt I have ever had with
M42; most of my shots before were limited to planetary stuff: Mars,
Jupiter, Saturn, etc... So, I just wanted to say thanks. I didn't
believe that my 114mm scope was capable of taking a picture like that.

Thanks for the info on collimating my telescope. I have a 10" Dobsonian mounted Newtonian and have been intimidated as hell, knowing I have to remove my main mirror and clean it. (It's MUCH more dirty than I can stand due to a few years of non-use.) Now I can go forward, armed with the knowledge and confidence to get it back in shape. THANKS AGAIN!!! LCH
